Mission

SOULWELL Ministries is changing lives by inviting people to live in freedom through the transformational power of Christ.

"All of us arrive on earth with souls in perfect form.  But from the moment of birth onward, the soul or "true self" is assailed by deforming forces from without and within: by jealousy, resentment, self-doubt, anger, fear, shame, and other forces of the inner life.  These powers would hold less sway over our life if we refused to collaborate with them.  But refusal is risky, so we deny our own truth, take up lives of "self impersonation", and betray our true identities.  And yet the soul persistently calls us back to our birthright form, back to lives that are grounded, connected, and whole. We believe that Jesus is the true Healer of our souls, and it is only by His tender love for us that we can find Full and Lasting Freedom to live as our authentic selves, the way He created us - whole and free!  (John 10:10)

​SOULWELL Ministries is Christ-centered in all its planning, organizing and services. Everything we do is based on our core values:

LOVING – We recognize that a restorative journey can only be offered in an atmosphere that reflects the love of God. We do this through the way we serve and minister to others, building a loving community where all are welcome.

INSPIRING – By living authentic, transparent and Christ-centered lives, our hope is that we’ll inspire others to do the same by surrendering to God and allowing Him to bring out their true selves.

TRANSFORMING – Through the teaching of spiritual disciplines, we equip others to develop a transforming relationship with Christ. These include contemplative prayer practices and other spiritual exercises that allow us to continue to experience God in deeper ways.

Kelly Burnett​​

Founder & President​

Kelly’s passion is to help people break free from strongholds and defeated living. Kelly knows true transformation is possible and is driven to see the peace and power of Christ empower every Christian. Personally, she has witnessed this possibility in her own life, after being set free from a legacy of lies, pain, worry, and lack of trust. After working in ministry both on church staff and other non-profit ministries, God called Kelly to create the SOULWELL Journey. SOULWELL Ministries was birthed out of Kelly's mission to lead others to discover the key to freedom is Jesus Christ. 

Kelly’s experience and training in para-church ministry span over 30 years.
